Have I Left my First Love?

Is your desire to love God with your whole heart, soul, mind & strength? Or does this seem a bit dramatic? Perhaps a bit emotional. Perhaps just not of first importance when compared to all the other demands life screams out to you?

Check out the following link to ask yourself (as I did) if you might have ‘left your first love’ (Rev. 2:1-7) using the 40 simple questions listed there. The list is only a tool, but it is a sharp, very helpful one to gauge the condition of one’s heart.

Maybe the problem isn't that God is distant, absent or disappointing . Maybe it's that your heart has left Him as your first love in ever so subtle ways?

Or could it be, for some, that you've gotten so busy serving that you've stopped cultivating your love for Him, and so drifted ever so subtly away?
