Brick Red, Forest Green, Cornflower, Burnt Orange, Maize....

We could learn a lot from a box of Crayons….
Some are sharp, some are pretty,
Some are dull, some have weird names.

Some are subtle, some are bold,
Some are more popular than others,
And some get broken (but we don’t throw them away.)
In the end, though, they all have to learn to live in the same box. A
nd their beauty is not in themselves, but in how the Master Artist uses them to create His own.

  1. That is deeply profound and colorful. But now I'm wondering...what could we learn from a box of pastel pencils?

  2. Did you just think of this from singing the crayon box song in sunday school?
